This is a story of two girls sharing the same room
"If Vitasoy is a toast to friendship, then drink this whole crate of it—cheers! To our everlasting camaraderie"
Half malted soybean Milk , half Vitasoy, just like you and me
Perhaps you are me
……There is a large mirror in my room
When unused, it is draped with a curtain
Sometimes I can catch a clear glimpse of myself:
Oil grains budding on both sides of my nose,
faint fine lines creeping out from the corners of my eyes
I once tried to count my freckles yet there were far too many;
I would always give up before finishing the count
Sometimes I talk to her I sing to her, gazing into her eyes;
I cry to her, staring straight at her
At times, I wish I could just wrap my arms around her….
Perhaps she is her?
“Room 6F, 3rd Floor – Her(s) Room” is the second installment of Wong Hei Yiu's works themed on "home". Continuing the playful bickering and heartfelt moments of the first part, this time we will step into this non-blood-related "family" once again, and peek into the shared bedroom of the two girls to uncover the story of her(s).
